About the press
Alderstone Press is a small independent publisher. Most of our books are references and study guides for people learning a trade or working in medicine. A few are for downtime.
We write for a reader with a job to do: an apprentice getting ready for a certification exam, a technician tracing a fault, a resident looking something up between patients. Each title is researched against current standards and published sources, and every answer key is checked before release.
Where a subject has real safety limits, the book says where it stops and a qualified professional takes over. Our descriptions list what is in the book and nothing that is not.
Some titles carry the Alderstone Press name as author. Others are published under pen names.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us. Each report is checked, and confirmed corrections are posted on the book's reader page and fixed in the next printing.
