Carve a jack-o'-lantern the whole street stops to look at, without a single piece falling out halfway through.

Most stencil books look great on paper. Then you start carving, and a pupil, a tooth or the gap under the cat's belly drops into the pumpkin because nothing was holding it in place. Every design in this book was checked so each part that stays on the pumpkin is joined to the rest by a bridge wide enough for its level.

Inside you will find:

  • 70 original pumpkin carving stencils, from quick faces to detailed scenes: cats, bats, ghosts, witches, skulls, haunted houses, wolves, ravens, dragons, sugar skulls and more.
  • Four honest levels, Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert, with typical carving times and the tools you need on every page.
  • A size line under every design showing its width and the smallest pumpkin it fits.
  • Small Pumpkin Sheets: favorite designs printed smaller for mini and pie pumpkins.
  • One stencil per page with a dashed cut line and a wide inside margin, so you can cut one out cleanly without losing another design.
  • A step-by-step guide: choosing a pumpkin, transferring the design (poke and chalk methods), carving order, safe lighting and making it last.
  • No-knife ideas for little helpers: trace, color, paint or poke.
  • Printable copies: scan the QR code inside for every stencil in three sizes, so you can carve your favorites again next year.

Cut out the page, snip the edges so the paper bends around the pumpkin, and tape it on. Poke along the black shapes, peel the paper away and carve the black areas. White stays.

For family carving nights, Halloween parties, classroom activities and neighborhood contests. These are paper stencils to cut out; the book does not include stickers, plastic stencils or carving tools.
